if folks called things what they were...more would just go sit it on down somewhere. this i truly want to believe.

so...it occurred to me that i should check in at my house and let folks know what i AM up to;)  been spending time over at FN.  if i AM not at my house...i can at times be  found speaking to someone He has me give His Word to there.  i don't know who it is.  but i know He tells me to speak.  the devils on the thread feel some kind of way about it;)  they will be ok.  folks are welcome to join convo(s):  http://field-negro.blogspot.com/

i just made myself crack up, hard, thinking about how His People, my people, want so badly to fit in.  laughing hard, sure beats crying;)  folks try non-stop despite this being the land of bondage + our punishment for idolatry/disobedience, to make our historical enemies change their minds about hating us.  it is the darndest thing.  (is that a word?  lol!)  more on that in a minute. 

so we are in that time where folks start talking about giving thanks.  not from a true giving thanks type of place, though.  a true giving thanks type of place means every day, all day...becomes thanks giving day.

when folks wish me a happy thanksgiving day...i AM rather put off.

had it just been a regular, say, Monday- that would get the enthusiastic back atcha + amein!

i AM offended because folks are mindlessly following rituals/traditions.  as per usual, without thinking about where these rituals/traditions came from originally.

i have celebrated this day before.  more from a place of rebellion + desire to go along for those around me.

those days are over.   

there was a massacre attached to this 'thanksgiving' ritual.

it frankly, works my nerve, that folks don't know/speak this Truth, as proud Americans.

maybe folks don't learn or tell it because they would not be so proud?

i don't know.

here's an excerpt below from someone that says it better than i can.  the fire she feels comes through in her writing.  i called it 'offended' when in all Truth...folks wishing me a "happy thanksgiving!" get the fire in my belly to roaring.  i.hate.injustice.

truth be told- it is all i can do to not suggest that if they don't get away from me with that, they'd better.  grrr.  that's all bad + not right;(  this is all a test, so if it plucks the last nerve too badly, i will mention inconvenient truths in the hopes of increasing understanding.

so, what cracked me up hard earlier, was the mental picture of His + my sleeping soundly people...

proudly draped in American flags/colors, barbequing up a storm; as they celebrate the 4th of July.  when i consider that my people do this annually...despite the slavery in full swing historical fact thing...i have to laugh.

hard.

then pray, that Almighty will wake His People, my people, up in a mighty way.  wake everybody up!  we got to call it what it is and keep seeking His Face.  there should be no hatred when this is done properly.

a special soul wanted to know earlier, "who has the time" to think + write as i do.  my answer would be:

someone who Understands that we are called to be in the world but not of it.  we make time to edify Him in all; that He might continue to lead + guide us.
