I instantly want to say root when it comes to certain social issues.
But others I feel the root (parents) are so set in their destructive ways that the best way is to connect with the tip (kids) and change them for the sake of an everlasting generational shift.

you make a great point and i agree this can be an effective approach. the great news is, there is no wrong answer. we all have different gifts.
