i would like to, in no uncertain terms, make it clear that i do not advocate the use of "nigga" or "nigger" as a term of endearment. in fact i strongly oppose such a practice.
yet, i respect that everyone's message won't be like mine or conveyed my way.
i fully support free creative expression. i have abandoned mainstream "music" and "entertainment". i don't find it very musical or entertaining anymore. quite the contrary actually.
at any rate, i appreciate this brother's message. i hope you do as well. i welcome your thoughts.

Thank you for this. It made me miss my adopted city, New York. I used to go to a poetry slam several times a month.
The video was really thoughtful with hard-hitting truth. (Like you, I could live without the n-word though) I am ready to move past imagining though, let us make this dream a reality.

i love spoken word! i can't get enough of it. i don't know where you live; however i'd be willing to bet there are artists there:-) you'll have to find them. or they will find you:-) which happens to me a lot!
the n-word, as you call it, as a term of endearment strikes me as indicative of backwards thinking. there are those afflicted with that condition---it took humdreds of years to make people that way. n-words do exist. unfortunately, they look like regular black folks! my take for what it's worth.
